CoAMP presents the 2015 IMMAAG - Bill Kidwell Regulatory Compliance Webinar Series!

June Webinar Topic:
TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosures

Join CoAMP and IMMAAG’s Bill Kidwell for a complete review of the new TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosure rule which is being implemented on applications received on or after August 1, 2015.

Unlike other TRID webinars, Bill’s presentation will focus on the impact, both positive in terms of opportunities to differentiate and challenging in terms of confusion and possible “delivery blips” that will most likely face his target group of originators – those sponsored by small, traditional mortgage shops.

During this special, extended 90 minute presentation, extended to allow an open Q&A session for the last 30 minutes; Bill will cover:

  • The Loan Estimate and early disclosure requirements and timing
  • The new “Your Home Loan Toolkit” booklet that replaces the old standby “Buying Your Home, Settlement Costs and Helpful Information” and how you can use it to help your customers
  • What is a “business day” – or maybe more precisely – what “are” business days
  • What’s different 8/1/2015 on the front end – early disclosures
  • What’s different on the back end – the Closing Disclosure
    • 3 days versus no days or one day
    • What causes a restart of the 3 days
  • Differentiating yourself - become an educator
    • How to help your borrowers
    • How to help your buyer's real estate agent
    • How to help the listing agent
  • Is your LOS ready?
  • Who's driving the car? What will your lenders really do?
  • A reference list of information sources
  • A calendar for Colorado originators

WHEN: June 17th, Wednesday 10am-11:30am

WHERE: Webinar details to be provided following registration

COST: Free to Members and $50 to non-members (includes a CoAMP-only Membership)

NOTE: Proceeds from these webinars support CoAMP’s Government Affairs Committee attendance at the NAMB Legislative Leg Walk in Washington D.C.

Bill Kidwell with IMMAAG is volunteering his time to and content to support CoAMP’s efforts on behalf of mortgage broker companies navigating the regulatory environment.
